This plot is part of an andesite mountain range. Andesite is a volcanic rock type that is typical in the region. This vineyard is named after a shape that is similar to a saddle. Its first mention was in 1469. Usually, its wine is fresh with a strong acidity structure. It works well in blending. We harvest Furmint and Hárslevelű here.
